Findings are shared with scientists and doctors around the world. In the meantime, Derek has activated his own network of wealthy clients and made several bulk purchases of PPE, all of which were donated and delivered to hospitals in hotspots.

Jude was prepared months ago so he’s been busy making porch deliveries of needed supplies to people in need. Cam reverse engineered ventilator parts and converted a Spencer Aeronautics facility to mass produce them. Although still busy, they've been taking full advantage of the time at home. Wink, wink.

Luna’s turned her house into a temporary shelter for fostering dogs during the crisis and her foundation has fully funded Miami’s local Meals on Wheels program — and paid a year’s worth of rent for every staff member at Lucky Dog.

Every employee in the lady billionaires’ companies is still employed, still receiving a full paycheck, and still carrying health insurance.
While we wish these women were more than fiction, we’re deeply moved by the real-life heroes of this pandemic. Yes, there are billionaires funding research and building ventilators.
